It all started as the PT 9.5
Fired up to keep the tradition alive;
Then Red Dawg stepped to make it a "10",
And the boyz all gathered to do it again!
Coming in waves to Spike's awesome lair,
To Granby we came to laugh and to share.
AC, Coffee Boy, the Red Dawg and Spike,
CapSup, JW and Carnie all made the hike.
The snow fell hard as we had hoped it would, and the skiing was enhanced to very, very good; AJ took us all over from Hughes to the top, only the famous on-slope picnic got us to stop.
Red Dawg and CapSup arrived by snowcat, great food and flowing wine - some of this, some of that.
The crew proudly donned their bitchin' Spyder gear, Symbol of our priceless fun year after year.
A little "extra" action didn't diminish the fun, as Coffee Boy made a spectacular final run.
The 'Dawg and Spike's cooking was nothing save great, glasses raised to toast all, from family to mate.
All culminated in Super Bowl Roman number 47,
hopes for a Niner victory delivered straight from heaven.
but it was just not to be as the Ravens took the game,
So we all licked our wounds and carried on just the same.
In the end it's always about our amazing time together,
not the football, nor the food nor even ideal weather.
We're all so lucky to experience the times we do,
precious each one, experiencing adventures a-new.
So shortly we take our memories back home,
captured for better or worse in this traditional poem;
dreams of PT 11 God-willing to include,
a re-built Dawg and "our" pope joining the brood.
To each of you who make this event so unique,
from the always-tasty coffee to the ever-clean sink;
from bombing down hills to the symphony of snores,
from chauffeured drives to the slopes to laugh-strengthened cores.
Our blessings are countless, this we know to be true,
on this road we call life what comes next, we've no clue.
But one thing we gratefully know is for certain,
On PT 11 we will gratefully again raise the curtain.
