Vail is huge. Huge snow fall. Huge lodges like Two Elks. Huge skiable terrain at 5,317 acres (nearly 8.5 square miles). This is larger than Manhattan. But what is larger than Manhattan, it is AC getting an early start to the trip.

But seriously, the Vail trip was legendary this year for a few reasons. Let's start with acreage. If the resort you are skiing is larger than Manhattan, what does that tell you?

It just means more untracked powder for Red Dawg.

Or High-Jinx in Outer Mongolia.
